Nose blowing with our school nurse

Hurray! Today our school nurse Elizabeth visited us for nose blowing practice. 

We  blow our nose when I get up, before I go to  school, when I'm at school, and when I go to sleep. When you sniff some dirty things in your nose,it will go to your ears and lungs. 

Elizabeth gave us some tissues to practice nose blowing. We blow our nose to take out the dirty things.  We have to breathe through our mouth two times.

 Finally she gave us a reminder and stickers. We thank Elizabeth for teaching us how to blow our nose properly and I learned how to do it properly.

Today  I was given an array of snails.  I used move-note to video myself to explain my strategy counting the snails. I skip counted by 5's, as ,5,10,15, until 20.

This is my grouping within ten. Today I have been learning to use the shape tool and paint bucket to show my grouping within ten. My grouping within ten was 6+4. I used the hearts shape tool to do this. I used word art. I used yellow for my background.

This is my grouping within ten. Today I used blocks to make my grouping within ten. I used five purple blocks and five red blocks. I have also used a combination of words and numbers to make my grouping within ten.

My Silly Cat in trouble

Goodness me! Last Friday , my cat Jacob got stuck on a cat door so my Dad rang the SPCA because he thought that my cat was hurt.

 When they arrived they pulled him gently. He was hard to pull out because he was so fat, so dad and I helped. Finally he was free!! I felt happy but when I saw that he was bleeding I was a little bit worried.

 The SPCA people bandaged his cut. When they were done treating him, it was time to say goodbye. We thanked them for their help and waved goodbye.

 Finally I gave my cat some milk and fish. He ate his food hungrily. I love my cat even though he is silly sometimes.
