HURRAY! TODAY OUR SCHOOL WENT TO MEET THE WAKA. FIRST WE GOT ON THE BUS AND TRAVELED TO PT.ENGLAND BEACH .WHEN WE ARRIVED THERE WE WERE GIVEN A BUDDY. MY BROTHER AND I WERE BUDDIES BECAUSE MRS.DINES SAID SO. THEN WE SAT ON THE GROUND AND WAITED FOR THE WAKA. ALL OF US WENT QUIET. WHEN THE WAKA ARRIVED OUR SCHOOL DID A HAKA AND WE HEARD ELEPHANT SOUNDS LIKE CALLING THEIR FRIENDS. THEN WE ALL SANG SONGS FOR THEM. WE SANG KARAKIA SONG CALLED "HE HONORE" . THE LEADER OF THE WAKA GAVE A SPEECH. WE ALL HIGH-FIVE THE WAKA PEOPLE. THEN WE WAITED FOR THE BUS TO TAKE US BACK TO SCHOOL. WHEN WE GOT BACK WE ATE MORNING TEA. THE YEAR 5 ARRIVED LATER. WHEN THEY ARRIVED WE HID BEHIND THE TREES TO TRICK THEM. THEY WERE SURPRISED TO SEE US DOING TRICKS TO MAKE THEM LAUGH. I LEARNED ABOUT THE WAKA .IT IS A BOAT THAT TRAVELED IN TO COME TO NEW ZEALAND. IT WAS A FUN DAY FOR ALL OF US!

My Pet Cat

My cats name is Snow. Her colour is white
and her eyes are blue.I played with her outside. We played hide n seek because she is good at that game. She always found me. During breakfast we ran to the dining room and ate our food. Her food is fish and I have milk and pancakes.Sometimes she is jealous of my food ,so I gave it to her .When its bed time she go to her bed.If she can't sleep I let her sleep with me.She saw a handsome cat and she like him. The owner is handsome too.I use my laptop and my kitty plays with my ipad.

My trip to the beach

Have you been to the beach? It's fun and you can build sandcastles or anything you want. At the beach we ate  some yummy food. We had bbq, chicken, and fish. After we ate me and my brother ran to the beach and made sand castles. After that me and my mom went to the warehouse to buy toys for my cousin's birthday. He likes spiderman so we bought a spider man rocket launcher. We went back to the beach, packed our things and went home. We got ready for my cousin's birthday. He invited my friends, and my brother's friends, and his friends. The food is chocolate ice cream, and we take turns cutting the cake. My cousin is lucky, he got xbox 360 classic and it has 12 controller.We played mine craft together. When it's home time my cousin wants us to stay and sleep over for 20 days but we went home. He cried so  his mom called us and said I want you to stay!

My holiday

Have you been to the beach?I have and its fun. You can build sandcastles or anything you want. 

First we ate some food. We had barbecue chicken and fish. It was yummy. When we where finished eating me and my brother ran to the beach and made sandcastles.Later me and my mom went to the warehouse. It was fun! I loved it on the beach and the warehouse

My grandma and I baked some chocolate mini cake.Mum said it was yummy, and my dad said "yeah it is" .They were all proud at me. Then my grandparents took me to the park. My grandpa and I rode on the swing until it was home time. I don't want to go, so my grandpa asked if I want an ice block. I said yes and grandpa bought strawberry ice block because its my favourite. Then we went home. I didn't know it was my birthday and my family surprised me. My cake was made of chocolate. I had 10 gifts and someone sent me a letter. I read it and it said hi there, happy birthday. I had a wonderful time with my family.

Popular pets in Room 5L

The turtles are the most popular pet in room 5L. They were popular beacause they have hard shell and they
have patterns on there back. Seventeen students chose turtles as their pet. The least popular pet is a birds
because they can fly away, and they create mess, through bird seed going on the floor and you cannot cuddle them. Only nine students chose birds.

Tee Golf

Have you played golf ? I have, and it is fun because our coach is funny.
This are the rules: be honest, respect and be responsible.

These are the rule for holding the golf club:
 Left hand, right hand, feet together, left foot, right foot and piggy pop,and swing the club to hit the ball.


Our coach name is Kannel. He is kind and he tells you what to do and you need to listen or your team will lose. You need to put your caps on because it was hot.We played and my team lost. Our score was 9 and the other team was 12. 
It was fun and we need to let some
other class play, so we went back to class.

Golf is really fun.
