Duffy hero assembly

We went to assembly to meet our Duffy hero and her name was Tasha.

She is a lawyer and a singer. 

She sang, "Mama Knows Best" beautifully.

Tasha told us that reading is good because we will have a clear voice when we sing.

We asked questions so we can know more about her. I think Lasike's question is the best because he asked " Do you always have that beautiful singing voice?".

When the assembly was going to end she sang " Price Tag " from Jessie J. 

Her favourite singer is Jessie J.

We saw her on the way out and we grouped hugged her and we went back to class.

Captured by aliens!!!

CAPTURED BY ALIENS!!!

Help me! Aliens captured me and am freaking out!

I'm in big trouble because the aliens want me to tell them about earth!

But what if I say bad things about earth?

The earth is dangerous because there are lots of bad people.Aliens should not live on earth because people will hurt them by being unfriendly to them. 

The food on earth is different and the water has bugs and insects which can make them sick and maybe die.

Aliens should not come to earth because people talk differently and we will not understand each other.

Yay! I'm not a prisoner any-more!
The aliens finally released me and they went back to the moon where they came from.

Living in the moon! - To stay or not stay?

Living in the moon! To stay or not stay?
I think I don't want to stay in the moon because there is no air, and I will die if I open the window.

I don't want to live in the moon, because I will be thirsty if my mum accidentally did not bring water.

I do not want to live in the moon, because I might vomit because the food will be made full of chemicals.

I really think I don't want to live in the moon because I might jump off the solar system and get lost in other planets.

Most importantly I think I don't want to live or stay in the moon, because the glass of my suit might break and I will die with out oxygen.

Ice Cream!!

I think children should be allowed to eat ice cream because it comes in
different flavours like strawberry,vanilla,cookies and cream,chocolate and hokey pokey which are all yummy and delicious.

Ice cream has milk which can make our bones and teeth healthy and strong.

Children should not eat ice cream whenever they want to because it can make your brain-freeze and it hurts. 

It has lots of sugar which can rot our teeth.

Most importantly children can eat ice cream sometimes during summer time and when there is special celebration or as a treat.

How a friend could be better

I believe a friend could be better if she stops calling me names.

I like a friend who is playful, because I will get bored if I have no playmate.
I like a friend who is fair, so we could take turns in playing games.

A friend should show respect to their friends, so they will treat them with respect too.
A friend should not be nasty, so they will not hurt their feelings.


Most importantly, a friend could be better if he stops telling lies, because I will be in trouble.
